GET WARM

When you walk in the door, you may be stressed, tight, achy, or simply put, not at your best. Our warm up aims to do three things: literally warm you up, mobilizes the mobile joints/stabilizes the stable joints, and gets us activated to help promote better movement.

POWER & PREP

As we age, power is one of the first things that starts to go. This leads to more slips, falls, and overall, a less capable life. This is why it’s crucial that touch on training power when we are at the least-fatigued part of our workout. We also make sure to touch on core and address any other mobility limitations during this time to get us ready for our strength portion.

GET STRONG

This is where the magic happens. We typically will focus on one upper body and one lower body exercises, shooting to progressively add weight throughout the weeks. By training strength, we are building stronger muscles, ligaments, and bones.

ACCESSORIES

During this section, we are making sure we cover the rest of our bases. It’s similar to our strength portion in that we are hitting an upper and lower body section, while also adding in some more core.

CONDITIONING

Lack of stamina is one the biggest complaints we get from new members walking in the door, so this is where we address it. We tend to utilize low impact modalities, such as stationary bikes, rowers, sleds, and bodyweight movements to challenge your heart and lungs to grow stronger and more efficient.
